ruby on rails - Encrypt/Decrypt String -

There is a simple problem for me that I want to hear your thoughts:

I have this rail In the URL

I am getting 'somehost' part through the parachraphs ['id']. I am calling URI.NX on 'nothing', but it does not 'encode'. Character Id parts will not be identified with numbers in tracks, so I tried to change the number with '% 2E' - this works, but Firefox (and I think other browsers also) % 2E '. It makes a copy and pastes the impossible and will cause many problems.

I want to encrypt and decrypt the 'fewhost' part in a URL-safe manner - any suggestions? Due to the built-in architecture, I can not call with a numerical primary key. I see is by name.

Thank you very much!

You can use base64 encoding, but it would be better to fix the actual problem. This issue has been described.

For your Roots file with a regex you have to set the : Needs key.
