ajax - "Thin" JavaScript framework for cross-browser scripting? -

Is there a javascript framework that focuses on increasing javascript by aligning the implementation differences? I do not mean that it provides a different outline, but provides similar functionality in different browsers, but that does allow non-standard browsers to be as standard-compliant as possible.

Actually, I want something for JavaScript that does ie7.js for MSIE or html5shiv for html5 elements . Or different workings for web sockets or canvas

I think jquery and its like moves can be, but I like something that allows me to write normal , standard-compliant JavaScript such as browsers There is no difference between.

Edit: As in every other answer it indicates that, yes, javascript is javascript and yes, most JavaScript frameworks try to improve cross-browser compatibility, let me explain that my What does that mean

The difference between different browsers between javascript implementation is nothing to do with language these days, in addition to some built-in methods in older browsers, there are many types of similar behaviors too. But there are still differences, especially between the current situation (Chrome / Firefox / Safari) and between legacy versions of MSIE (i.e. MSIE 7) Most notably, Dom has to face more subtle funny things in his API.

I just do not want a framework that lets me write javascript which works in most browsers. This is a penny a dozen, I need a thin layer which allows me to write which works equally in modern browsers and heritage browsers. JQuery, Dojo etc. all go ahead and unite existing ones instead of providing their own unique APIs.

"Using jQuery" is saying that if I want to avoid cross-browser rendering differences, I would like to Rich Ajax Platform (or other code-generation frameworks). I do not want any "option", I need "bugfix" (not really).

EDIT2: Just point to running the house: I am not just looking for any framework I am very deeply familiar with jQuery, have tried YUI and currently considering trying Dojo I am doing I just do not want a "good" structure. I should do one that fits my particular details. It is fine if there is nothing like this, although it would be interesting to know why not (i.e. technical reason, no, "all people Are very busy using jQuery ").

Asked in the question that a long time has passed, but maybe it's used for anyone Has: Recently, a group of developers of the Financial Times, a universal polyfil, patch only the parts necessary for different browsers.
