I have explicitly integrated the plug-in in Visual Studio 2008. I'm facing a problem with the unchecked checkout option with the plugin.

I modified, tool -> option -> rational scrutiny -> Clear user option I removed the "reserved" check under the "Operations" tab. I right click

After this setting, I chose a file for checkout -> A popup demanded the comments, but, "checked" in the last window reserved for checkout is reserved . We do not ever check that the check is not being closed Pleaase help reference is the default for all files, and I am amending the settings to default on unsecured checkout in the CCRC.

Can you check what file after clicking OK on the checkout dialog Actually check out in reserve mode?

You can do this with the DOS session by going to the original directory of the file, and type: 

  cleartool ls

By the way, are you using a precise version of cleanness?
Are you using a completely clean client or just CCRC GUI? (Which means that the light customers transmitted from the CCRC server)
