Latex: Any way to have a caption on the table that won't show up in the list of tables? -


What I'm trying to do is:

table
caption text (source , Year),

In the list of tables, I want to show "Caption Text", but not the source. However, if I put it all in the caption {} , then they do.

Ohhhow, I realized that if I were from " \ cite {source} \ start {table} and \ end {table} But after the table, I can get the text without showing it in the list, but if you have a better way of doing this please tell me.
